Hello!

My name is Holly. I am a Jersey calf, and I live at Shortwood Farm. My mum, Buttercup the 2nd, and my sisters, Poppy and Snowdrop, also live at the farm with me, and we are the prettiest cows at Shortwood! You can recognise us by our huge black eyes and our long eye lashes.

None of the other cows at the farm have names -they are just known by number - but we Jersey cows are special. That’s why I have been asked to show you around the kids’ corner.

Next week you can read about the adventures of Sidney and Sally, find out loads of fun farm facts, and send us all of your photos, pictures and stories, which we will put in a gallery just for you. Most importantly, you can read my story and find out why my name is Holly.

You could ask your mum or dad to print out one of our great fun activity sheets before you come to the farm, and when its all filled in you can collect your Nature Detective Certificate and lollypop! Click on the bellow links, and print off just one or all three of the activity sheets!
